High Performance Computing

The focus of this group is the design of environments capable of protecting a facility’s most valuable assets. Understanding our client’s needs and goals, applying sound engineering practice, and utilizing evolving technologies enables the HPC Specialty Group to create fault tolerant and high-availability infrastructure.

Design approach is specific to need and decades of engineering experience and analysis coupled with state-of-the- art tools and computer software enhances best design practice. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and short- circuit coordination (SCC) studies are among the tools that allow Vanderweil to design the most effective cooling system or most robust power scheme.

Paralleled stand-by and co-generation:
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, including multi-module flywheel, rotary and traditional battery topologies
