Las Vegas Sands Corporation was awarded the first gaming license issued by the Urban Development Authority in Singapore. Marina Bay Sands is a new 9.5 million sf entertainment and hospitality complex.

The main features of the development include three 57-story hotel towers, totaling 3,000 guest rooms connected at the top by a three acre rooftop sky garden that includes swimming pools, restaurants, and a spa.

The project also includes a 220,000 sf Arts/Science museum as its icon, 800,000 sf of retail space, 275,000 sf casino, an ice skating rink, a 2.5 million sf state-of-the-art expo/convention center and meeting complex, two 2,000-seat theaters, and 1.4 million sf of underground parking.
