John Saad, Managing Principal of Vanderweil Engineers, was recently inducted into the Advisory Board of the Scientific Equipment & Furniture Association (SEFA). SEFA is an international trade association comprised of the world’s leading manufacturers of “laboratory grade” furniture and equipment, dealers, lab planners, architects, and engineers. SEFA develops industry standards which contain testing procedures and other important criteria used to determine whether a product can meet the rigorous demands of the lab environment and be considered “laboratory grade.”
SEFA hosts seminars and events at global shows like ARABLAB in Dubai; ACHEMA in Germany; Analytica China, as well as SEFA’s Annual Meeting and Trade Show in the United States. SEFA’s Annual Meeting involves committee work as well as informational seminars where attendees earn continuing education credits, while learning about the latest industry trends. These seminars feature guest speakers who are industry leaders in their field of expertise. John is speaking at SEFA’s 30th Annual Meeting and Trade Show which will be held at Rockefeller University November 14 -16, 2018.
