To all of our clients, partners, and friends:
As all of us cope with the widespread ramifications of the coronavirus, we are monitoring with concern the rising numbers infected by this terrible pandemic. We wish for a swift and full recovery for all those who have been directly affected. Additionally, we applaud the worldwide efforts to prevent further infections and tragic deaths, and embrace the recommended strategies by our state and federal agencies.
At Vanderweil, our primary focus remains to preserve the health and wellness of our employees and their families, as well as our clients and our surrounding communities. As a result, to contain the spread of this virus, we have taken the following measures:
Starting Monday, March 16, all of our employees have been asked to work from home for the next two weeks. While most of our workforce will be working remotely, our offices will remain open to allow our essential staff to keep operations going. We will be monitoring the situation closely as things evolve and address the terms of this policy as needed.
Our technology infrastructure provides the ability for our staff to work remotely. Our IT group continues to work diligently to ensure that everyone has the tools and support they need with minimal disruptions.
We have canceled all non-essential travel for our employees, including attendance at conferences and large gatherings. We are also asking our employees to work together with clients to minimize in-person meetings and conduct virtual meetings as much as possible.
We have ongoing communication between our senior staff and our teams to ensure that the work is progressing.
As we all deal with these unprecedented events, we are committed to continue serving our clients while ensuring everyone’s safety and well-being.
Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones. Together, we will get through this crisis.
Thank you,
Eli Sherman, PE
