Emerson College’s commitment to sustainability and environmental best practices especially for green building has led to the pursuit of LEED^® for New Construction for their residence hall Little Building project. The Little Building located in Boston, MA is approximately 250,000 gsf. Vanderweil Engineers is providing LEED^® Consulting services for the building and is targeting Gold level certification. LEED^® design includes a low impact site with energy-efficient measures that will serve as a healthy and productive space for its inhabitants, including staff, students and visitors.
