345 kV Lower SEMA Project Carver to Bourne, MA consists of an 18 mile 345 kV transmission line into Cape Cod and (3)115 kV lines reconfigurations at Barnstable, MA.  This project requires work within the towns of Carver, Plymouth, Bourne, and Barnstable in Massachusetts

Transmission line:

• A family of over 150 steel pole structures including insulators, hardware, and foundations
• 200 foot canal crossing structures
• 150 wood pole H-frames with steel pole structures at deadends
• 18 circuit miles of bundled ACSS conductor
• 18 circuit miles of 2338 kCmil ACAR conductor
• 18 miles of O.P.G.W.

• 3 overhead/underground transition switchyards
