This new standalone CHP plant building includes a central power island consisting of two 20 MW nominal combustion turbine generators (CTGs) coupled with heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs), to replace the existing end-of-life ABB G-T-10 20 MW unit and add electrical and thermal capacity to serve present and anticipated future loads. Expansion of existing medium voltage electrical infrastructure, coupled with the new power island, provides increased reliability and resiliency for the overall campus.
