Master plan for new development consisting of a 3,186,117 sf (296,000 m²), 1,000-bed teaching hospital, 430,556 (40,000 m2) sf research center, 161,458 sf (15,000 m²) conference and training center, 355,209 sf (33,000 m²) faculty and science center, 150,694 sf (14,000 m²) Technician’s and Nursing Institute, and 204,514 sf (19,000 m²) of housing, along with 2,927,783 sf (270,000 m²) of underground parking. The hospital will have inpatient and outpatient functional program, including diagnostic and treatment, public, and support blocks. The project will seek LEED^® Gold certification.
