A 103,900 sf addition and historic preservation/renovation to the original Cambridge Library building constructed in the 1800s. Project includes open space enhancements, a possible link to the adjoining city high school, and a 70-space underground parking garage. Sustainable design features include high performance MEP systems: state-of-the-art building management control systems, high-efficiency lighting and natural light dimming system, a double facade curtain wall system, and a high-efficiency heating/cooling plant. This project achieved LEED Silver® certification.
