Since 1981 Vanderweil has been working continuously for what is now Bank of America, which previously was the First National Bank of Boston (FNB), then Bank Boston, and then Fleet Bank. We have worked on a thousand different projects encompassing a hundred different sites. The majority of our work has been changing and upgrading existing facilities, although we have done about 25 new branch banks and a new 100,000 sf office building. This work requires detailed field investigations, carefully coordinated design, phased construction in occupied buildings, asbestos abatement, and a knowledge of all types of MEP systems.
